#2 Study and epidemic

The second epi­so­de of the „Efekt Sie­ci” looks at the issue of remo­te lear­ning – the oppor­tu­ni­ties and, abo­ve all, the chal­len­ges that the higher edu­ca­tion sec­tor has faced in the face of a pan­de­mic. Con­di­tions of social iso­la­tion and the trans­i­tion to remo­te mode have chal­len­ged the aca­de­mic com­mu­ni­ty to con­ti­nue the edu­ca­tio­nal mis­sion of the Uni­ver­si­ty of War­saw under unpre­ce­den­ted con­di­tions, yet equ­ip­ped with tech­no­lo­gi­cal resources.

– the possi­bi­li­ty of uni­ver­si­ties pro­vi­ding only onli­ne teaching,
– an asses­sment of the oppor­tu­ni­ties and risks asso­cia­ted with the trans­i­tion of higher edu­ca­tion to distan­ce mode,
– con­di­tions neces­sa­ry for the effec­ti­ve run­ning of e‑learning courses,
– the possi­bi­li­ty of con­ti­nu­ing the edu­ca­tio­nal mis­sion of the Uni­ver­si­ty of War­saw, in the face of the vario­us restric­tions impo­sed on uni­ver­si­ties by the pandemic.
