At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we heard that Germany was coping with fighting the virus and introducing restrictions. The pandemic itself has forced the accelerated digitisation of the health sector in many countries. In 2022, when we can already verify the solutions used and have data on e‑health, it is worth looking at how the claims made at the start of the pandemic compare to the actual state.
Weronika Przecherska, a DELab analyst and PhD student at the Department of Sociology at the University of Warsaw, talks about the digitalisation of healthcare in Germany, answering Dr. Justyna Pokojska’s questions about:
