August 11-14, 2016, Dr. Renata Gabryelczyk at the 22nd Americas Conference on Information Systems

The 11nd Americas Conference on Information Systems, presented annually by The Association for Information Systems (AIS), took place in San Diego from August 14-2016, 22. This year's conference, titled "Surfing the IT Innovation Wave," was hosted this year by Oklahoma State University, San Diego State University, and San Francisco State University. The Association for Information Systems (AIS) is the leading association for individuals and organizations that conduct research, teaching, practice, and study of information systems worldwide.
Dr. Renata Gabryelczyk took part in the conference. Her involvement included: Submitting and managing the mini-track “Business Process Management in Transition and Developing/Emerging Economies” (together with Dr. Eng. Arkadiusz Jurczuk) Presenting and publishing the research on “Business Process Management in Transition Economies: Current Research Landscape and Future Opportunities” (authors: Gabryelczyk R., Jurczuk N., Roztocki N.) Participating in the “Teaching Business Process Management” workshops Chairing the “ICT in Education” session, which took place as part of the SIGGlobDev (Special Interest Group ICTs in Global Development) Organizing and chairing the “ICTs in Global Development” session during next year’s AMCIS 2017 conference, which will be held in Boston on August 10-12 (Track Chairs: Narcyz Roztocki, Renata Gabryelczyk, Janice Sipior).
