Digital Philology: Textometric Analysis (TXM) of Kazimierz Twardowski's Treatise "On Activities and Products" I. - DELab

On Saturday, December 20, 2014, Archives eLV and DELab, thanks to the support of the French Embassy in Warsaw and the BQR of the University of Paris 1 PantheonSorbonne, organize the first part of an international workshop on textometric (TXM) analysis of scientific texts. Participants: Serge Heiden (ENS Lyon) and Piotr Bański (Mannheim/UW), prof. Magdalena Danielewicz (Department of Formal Linguistics, University of Warsaw), Frédéric Nef (IJN/EHESS Paris), Alexandre Roulois (CNRS/LLF/Paris), Joanna Zaucha (UKW Warsaw) and Jakub Milewski (UW). Argument: The digital publishing project "Theory of Actions and Products of Kazimierz Twardowski" involves publishing the text of Twardowski's treatise "On Actions and Products" in Polish, German, English and French, as well as analyzing the individual versions, among others, using digital tools. The workshop is intended to prepare a methodology for analysis using TXM (a textometric analysis program built by the Lyon team that takes into account TEI codes) of Twardowski's treatise "On Actions and Products". The subject of the first workshop will be the Polish and English versions of the theory, with particular emphasis on its first, linguistic part. Location: DELab, University of Warsaw
