On Wednesday, May 27 at 16:00 p.m. Joanna Szaflik gave a lecture: DIGITAL EDITING OF SOURCES based on the e-BLAUSTEIN project
The e-Blaustein project is dedicated to the figure and work of an outstanding representative of the Lvov-Warsaw School, a student of Kazimierz Twardowski, Edmund Husserl, philosopher, Germanist, psychologist and pedagogue, Leopold Blaustein. Blaustein anticipated many important problems in the field of media and communication theory already in the interwar period, practicing philosophy and psychology. His premature death at the hands of the Nazis prevented the dissemination of his pioneering theories. The project consists of constructing a digital corpus of Leopold Blaustein's works and collecting information about his life and scientific work using digital representation technologies and digital publishing of sources typical for the humanities. Joanna Szaflik, a graduate of psychology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, conducted biographical research on representatives of the Lvov-Warsaw School in the Lvov Archives, cooperated with CNRS/Paris/IHPST and the e-LV archive http://www.elv-akt.net/. Currently, she is a collaborator of DELab UW. Place: BUW, ul. Dobra 56/66 Warsaw, room 315, 27.05.2015rd floor (take the elevator at the main entrance to the library, then to the end of the corridor and to the right) Time: Wednesday 16/00/XNUMX, XNUMX:XNUMX.
