The success of Polish companies and the strength of Polish economy depend on the implementation and effective use of new digital technologies. The development of Industry 4.0, based on the vision of modern companies and factories, brings many challenges, but also creates completely new opportunities to compete in changing markets.

„Industry 4.0” is a complex process of technological and organizational transformation of enterprises, associated with the change of the company’s business model and the integration of the value chain in the overall product life cycle. The prerequisite for this transformation is the advanced use of digital technologies and data resources, and its goal is the mass personalization of the production of goods and services in response to individualized customer needs.

The tool was created as part of the Future Industry Platform Foundation project implemented by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology in cooperation with DELab UW. It diagnoses the current stage of development of digital maturity of companies and presents basic recommendations for further actions, adjusted to the current level of maturity of the company.
