

RESEARCH WORKSHOP ON REGULATORY CHANGES IN DIGITAL MARKETS

We analyze the role of legal frameworks in shaping digital markets in Poland, Europe, and worldwide. Our research addresses both the benefits and risks associated with existing and proposed legislation, as well as the role of regulatory bodies responsible for enforcing digital regulations. We focus on policies related to the ethical use of emerging technologies. Our team contributes to public policymaking by participating in consultations and pre-legislative dialogues organized by governmental and parliamentary institutions.
- We analyse EU and international law: We examine how European Union and international law shapes the digital market, focusing on the benefits and risks of new regulations.
- We examine the role of regulatory authorities: We analyse the activities of the European Commission and other regulatory authorities in ensuring the implementation of digital economy rules.
- We assess emerging international law: We focus on international economic law and human rights law in the context of their impact on the digital economy.
- We analyze the use of new technologies in law: We are exploring the possibilities of using artificial intelligence and other technologies in the process of creating and enforcing law.
- We balance innovation with protection of rights: We analyse how innovation can be balanced with the protection of citizens’ rights, privacy and security, as well as with respect for the principle of business competitiveness.
- We promote AI ethics: We are exploring new legislative solutions that enforce AI transparency and ethics, especially in the context of equality and non-discrimination by algorithms.
