Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is a global support network that aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in innovation, development and internationalisation. The EEN, the largest of its kind in the world, offers personalised advisory services from experts from member organisations such as chambers of commerce, universities, innovation agencies and regional development organisations. The network operates in over 60 countries, bringing together 3000 experts from over 600 organisations to support companies in adapting to sustainable and digital business models and in finding new markets and international partnerships. Launched by the European Commission in 2008, the network is funded by the Single Market Programme and implemented by the European Commission’s European Innovation Council and the SME Executive Agency (EISMEA). Through the EEN, entrepreneurs can benefit from a wide range of advisory services, including support in digitisation, innovation, technology audits, technology transfer, innovation financing and sustainable development. As an EEN center at DELAB UW, we specialize in consulting in the field of digital transformation, innovation and internationalization. Companies using EEN services have access to an extensive database of business opportunities in Europe, which helps them establish international partnerships, develop new products and expand into foreign markets.
