Winner of the START grant "for outstanding young scientists at the beginning of their scientific career" from the Foundation for Polish Science.

His research focuses mainly on digital markets, with a particular emphasis on creative industries, unauthorized trading of content (so-called "piracy") and new models of financing creativity (e.g. crowdfunding). He is also currently working on the topic of cross-sector competition for attention (the so-called attention economy or attention economy).

His research interests also include the labor market and its changes under the influence of technology, as well as the topics of inequality and discrimination.

In his research he uses techniques of automated data collection from the Internet, experimental methods, surveys or econometric analysis on existing databases.

In addition to research topics, his interests include mythology from different regions of the world, and music. Most of all, though, he realizes himself as a dad.

At DELab UW since October 2018.
