During the seminar, the results of a qualitative study of the Polish blockchain ecosystem will be presented, with emphasis on the conditions of its operation and prospects for development. General economic factors related to the ease of doing business and the level of general trust in business-state relations are important for the operation of this industry. On the other hand, issues related to the innovative nature of the industry are crucial, such as access to financing of risky ventures, regulatory perspectives regarding innovative products and services or the existence of initiatives supporting the environment. The globalisation of the blockchain/crypto industry and the ease with which Polish companies can enter into investor or partnership relations with entities from all over the world are also of considerable importance. The presentation will discuss the combined influence of these factors on the shape of the Polish blockchain ecosystem.
